Harvest period:
late harvest at the end of October. Two passes are made during the harvest. The grapes from the first “selection” go into the Pigato “Marenè”, while the remaining grapes remain on the vine for about a month longer.

Vinification: Cryomaceration for 24 hours followed by soft pressing at low temperatures. Fermentation in T-shaped steel tanks controlled with indigenous yeasts. Battonage in steel for 6 months.

Maturation: 6 months

2 months in the bottle

Colour: straw yellow, more or less intense Aroma: broad with aromatic and almond notes
Taste:
dry, intense, persistent, savoury with hints of aromatic herbs.

Alcohol content: 14-14,5 %Vol

Serving temperature: 13° C
