Every time the village became depopulated, Aimone and Chiara bought old abandoned houses with the enthusiasm to bring them back to life. This is how, among the narrow streets of the historic centre of Bastia, the Pigato farmhouse was born, adjacent to the winery and the Vio family’s manor house. Here you can find cosy apartments in typical Ligurian style with classic Ligurian marble kitchens, exposed stone walls, rustic terracotta floors and every comfort.

Guests can enjoy attentive service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, taste the products of healthy, seasonal agriculture, and receive information and advice on discovering the villages and valleys of this western land.

This old-fashioned establishment will delight you with genuine, healthy breakfasts served in the farmhouse’s wonderful dining room.

We seek out local products to offer on our buffet. Carolina is dedicated to preparing focaccia, pizzas, cakes, and savoury dishes to satisfy a variety of palates. As we use fresh ingredients, we can also prepare products for coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans. Please remember to indicate your dietary requirements when booking.
