Vio Giobatta Farm
Aromatic Herbs and Vegetables
The Vio Giobatta farm is located in the fertile Albenga Plain, surrounded by the Ligurian coast to the south and the Maritime Alps to the north. It enjoys a mild climate, ideal for growing vegetables and aromatic herbs all year round in the perfect environment for these crops.
Over the years, the farm has grown, initially cultivating mainly vegetables such as Albenga artichokes and then, since the 1980s, aromatic herbs, another crop that expresses its maximum aromatic intensity on the Ligurian Riviera.
We have been working with large-scale retailers for over 40 years, with most of our production packaged and destined for large-scale distribution, also operating in the most important fruit and vegetable markets in northern Italy and northern Europe with daily shipments of both bulk and packaged products.
Our facility
The plant where our activities are carried out is a modern, recently expanded building. The warehouse is spread over two levels, the ground floor and basement, with a total covered area of 2,000 square metres, while the loading and unloading areas cover approximately 4,000 square metres. The facility has separate entry and exit routes for the various products, cooling the various items to different temperatures according to the requirements of the production cycle.
It is equipped with four fully automated packaging machines that guarantee efficiency and variability in packaging. We work with qualified, non-seasonal staff to ensure greater continuity with our operators, thus facilitating every production process.
