With passion and love,
you get better wine

In our family’s agricultural tradition, wine has always been little more than a pleasant pastime, as was typical in the past in all farming families. Today, thanks to the passion and dedication of the whole family, names such as MaRenè, Bon in da Bon, Grand-Père, Aimone, U Bastiò and Gigò, rather than the classic Pigato, Vermentino, Rossese and Granaccia, have made their mark on the imagination of wine lovers as synonymous with quality and unity of production: the wines are not created by the will of an individual but by the whole family.
The composition of the soil, the sunny location, organic cultivation and meticulous work on each plant, with particular attention to all the processes in the vineyard, allow us to obtain superior quality fruit.
“Our main project – says Aimone Vio, awarded “Winemaker of the Year 2017 by the Gambero Rosso Guide, ‘is to continuously invest in improving the quality of the grapes, moderating production per vine, as it is our firm belief that the quality of wine is achieved in the vineyard and then realised in the cellar…”

On the highest terraces of the Arroscia Valley, on the other hand, Taggiasca olives are processed and, in accordance with local tradition, the olives are harvested by hand and cold pressed. The yellow/green extra virgin olive oil has a typical, delicate fragrance.
BioVio wines and extra virgin olive oil can be found in the best wine shops and restaurants both in Italy and abroad.
