The Pigato farmhouse lodge was born out of the love of our roots, a quality which has always characterized our family, and we decided to renew our faith in our land and restore part of the old hamlet of Bastia. Small apartments in the old Ligurian style have been created around our cellar, combining elegance and good taste with the tradition of the old marble kitchens, stone walls, and terracotta floors, together with all the modern comforts.

This old-world atmosphere will delight you and we offer you a genuinely, healthy breakfast, served in the main kitchen with seasonal and fresh products, and you will also have the possibility of buying vegetables and herbs direct from our garden.

Giobatta Vio, better known as Aimone, has recuperated and given new life to some of the oldest buildings in his old hamlet of Bastia d'Albenga, built in the Middle Ages to guard the main entrance to the surrounding valleys. Now these buildings are carefully-designed, cosy living units. Our guests can choose from among the classical double rooms with en suite kitchen, where they can enjoy a relaxing family-like atmosphere, they can taste the produce of healthy and season-respectful farming, and they can obtain information and advice if they wish to discover the villages and valleys of this land.
